It’s hard to describe the sensation of putting on the BCKR Cool One for the first time. The patented brrr° front fabric immediately cools the exposed skin on your arms and delivers comfort in otherwise uncomfortably warm environments. We've coupled it with the super-breathable Toray DotAir fabric on the back to make the ideal spring + summer + early fall sun-protective pullover.

There are other sun-protective shirts and jackets available in team colors, but none match our combination of material innovation and build quality. This lightweight pullover keeps you cool when it warms up, keeps you comfortable when temperatures dip, and is built to last. These materials — from Toray, brrr° and YKK — cost more than the fabrics and zippers used in most other fan gear, which is why the Cool One costs more than the other stuff. If you’re looking for a semi-disposable team shirt, this may not be for you. If you appreciate well-made gear that’s built to last, you’ve come to the right place.

The Cool One UPF Pullover was designed with an athletic fit and the expectation that it will be worn over a t-shirt. If you prefer a larger fit, consider ordering one size larger.

SHIPPING + RETURNS
All packages ship from the BCKR warehouse in Austin, Texas. We ship Monday through Friday except on major holidays and when there are disruptions. We try to process all orders within one business day of receiving them, but we’re a small team and it may take slightly longer during busy times. We try to get orders placed before 12PM CT out the same day. It may take a day or two after processing to start receiving tracking updates.
We have a free 30-day no-questions-asked return policy, which means you can return your products within 30 days of receiving your order for any reason so long as they are returned to us in their original condition (unused, unwashed, unaltered, free of mustard and face paint stains). Your original form of payment will be credited with the refund.

BCKR products are built with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship to ensure they’ll stand up to the harshest environments a fan can endure. We guarantee the quality of every BCKR product.
If you are not satisfied with a BCKR product when you receive it, or if the product fails at any time due to defects in materials or workmanship, you can return it for a repair or replacement, at our discretion.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, negligence, normal wear and tear, the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use, or you starting a fight with an entire visitor section. They’re jackets and hats, not plate armor.
Who Is BCKR?
BCKR is an independent apparel brand founded by diehard sports fans who spent their careers in the outdoor industry and were disappointed that the quality and performance of fan gear didn't live up to the same standards as that of the top ski, hunting, and fishing brands. Our headquarters are in Austin, Texas, and we have team members in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia.

A jacket in the summer?!?
I grew up in the pleasantly temperate Pacific Northwest, which left me completely ill-suited for the too-hot-to-think summers of my adopted Texas home. And truth be told, I tend to run warm even in mild weather. So while the first two jackets in the initial BCKR line were born out of frustration with how poorly my team merch stood up to serious rain and cold, the Cool One came from a different need: something to keep me cool and protected from the sun every day from March through October.
I wanted a jacket I could wear while watching sports on a scorching afternoon and just as easily throw on for the office. Sun shirts are great on the skiff, but they’re too sheer for everyday wear. We needed full head-neck-arms UPF coverage, plus airflow and cooling power. So we bought every cooling shirt and jacket we could find, searching for an answer until we found brrr° cooling fabrics. We then paired that with a material we already knew and loved from the outdoor world: super-breathable Toray DotAir.
The result is a pullover that bridges multiple worlds: it keeps me cool when it’s blazing and adds just enough warmth when there’s a chill. It’s more substantial than a sun shirt but breathes better than any jacket I’ve owned.
Since the first shipment arrived, I’ve barely taken it off. And now feel a little more suited for those Texas summers.
