Featuring the same premium three-layer waterproof membrane fabric that we use in our Dry One Waterproof Coat, this hat offers advanced technical fabrics and taped seams in the classic ballcap look. It's both lightweight and breathable, so you'll stay dry without feeling like you have a plastic bag on your head.
Is It Really Better?
There are no team licensed hats quite like the Dry One Waterproof Cap, and the difference is the fabric. We're using premium Toray fabrics that are typically reserved for high end waterproof coats and ski wear. This delivers an unmatched combination of water repellency and breathability, in a super lightweight structure.
Fit + Sizing
The Dry One Waterproof Cap has a mid-sized crown — not too tall, not low profile. With the hook-and-loop closure, it can adjust from about a 6 7/8 to 7 5/8 hat size.
SHIPPING + RETURNS
All packages ship from the BCKR warehouse in Austin, Texas. We ship Monday through Friday except on major holidays and when there are disruptions. We try to process all orders within one business day of receiving them, but we’re a small team and it may take slightly longer during busy times. We try to get orders placed before 12PM CT out the same day. It may take a day or two after processing to start receiving tracking updates.
We have a free 30-day no-questions-asked return policy, which means you can return your products within 30 days of receiving your order for any reason so long as they are returned to us in their original condition (unused, unwashed, unaltered, free of mustard and face paint stains). Your original form of payment will be credited with the refund.

If you are not satisfied with a BCKR product when you receive it, or if the product fails at any time due to defects in materials or workmanship, you can return it for a repair or replacement, at our discretion.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, negligence, normal wear and tear, the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use, or you starting a fight with an entire visitor section. They’re jackets and hats, not plate armor.

BCKR is an independent apparel brand founded by diehard sports fans who spent their careers in the outdoor industry and were disappointed that the quality and performance of fan gear didn't live up to the same standards as that of the top ski, hunting, and fishing brands. Not just for offshore fishermen
I’ve always been a ballcap guy. I’ve got hundreds at home, and together they read like chapters of my biography: my American Legion baseball team, the early days at YETI, that fly shop I love in Montana, the BBQ joint with the great pulled pork in Carolina. Plus, dozens upon dozens of hats from my favorite teams.
But before we created the Dry One Waterproof Cap, the only waterproof hat I owned was designed for offshore fishermen and was about as breathable as a naugahyde track suit.
It wasn’t for lack of rain. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where October through March was predictably soggy. (You don’t realize how dirty your favorite ballcap has gotten until you're caught in a downpour and see murky beads of water dripping off the brim.) I can’t tell you how many poorly made hats I’ve trashed because the flimsy bill got soaked and turned to pulp, never to regain its crisp form again.
So we made this cap and called it the Dry One, just like its cousin, the Dry One Waterproof Coat. They share the name because they use the same fabric: a 3-layer, waterproof, breathable Toray material we’ve never seen used in licensed team headwear before. I’d say it’s the best waterproof ballcap I own, but that’s not saying much, because it’s also the first. I can attest, though, that it breathes a whole lot better than naugahyde.
